An unexpected trip to our neighborhood farmer's market afforded me to make one of my favorite treats: Arugula Pesto. Peppery arugula, hazelnuts, garlic and olive oil. It all blended for a perfect spread to serve with some pretzel bread from a local bakery, farmer's fresh made cheese and some of the pickles I just made. Not a bad Labor Day snack.
